RBS for 16s rClone
Our RBS is modified from previous RBS BBa_J100440. If our RBS is successfully ligated into the E.coli genome, RFP gene with our RBS will be transcribed, the ribosome will bind to our RBS, and the mRNA will be translated into the Red fluorescent protein. We can expect to have cells that are ampicillin-resistant and fluoresce red.
